Ministries
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry continues to be a major asset to MCC-Charlotte. This year we have been blessed to have teachers and volunteers to teach our children. MCC-Charlotte has children of all ages, from new-born babies to teenagers.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at MCC-Charlotte is exploding with new growth! The choir is currently practicing for their upcoming Cantata and working on new pieces for this year. The choir currently meets in the church sanctuary at 7:00pm on Thursday nights for practice. If you would like to join us, please come out, we would love to have you!
HIV/AIDS Food Pantry
This ministry has been solely funded by the congregation of MCC-Charlotte which means we do not have to spend money buying food. The Food Pantry is operated by a group of very committed and dedicated volunteers who accepts phone calls, coordinate food, and make food deliveries. It is a vital ministry to the church.
Prayer/Care/Share Ministry
Stay tuned to this spot as we will be updating our Prayer/Care/Share Ministry information very soon!
Can Ministry
This ministry is vital to the church and funds from the ministry have been used many times when there was a need in the church. We ask that the congregation continue to support this ministry by bringing and contributing aluminum cans to the church.
THINK ABOUT IT
Job or Ministry?
Some people have a job in the church.
Others involve themselves in ministry.
What is the difference?
If you do it just because no one else will...it's a job.
If you do it to serve God...it's a ministry.
If you quit because someone criticized you...it's a job.
If you kept on serving in spite of criticism...it's a ministry.
If you'll do it only so long as it doesn't interfere with other things...it's a job.
If you're committed to staying with it, even when it means letting other
things go...it's a ministry.
If you quit because no one ever praised or thanked you...it's a job.
If you stay even though no one notices your efforts...it's a ministry.
If you do it because someone else said it needs to be done...it's a job.
If you do it because you sensed God saying it needs to be done...it' a ministry.
It is hard to get excited about a job.
It is almost impossible not to get excited about a ministry.
An average church is filled with people doing jobs.
A great and growing church is filled with people involved in ministry!
